Volunteer at Sky Lake
Since 1947, Sky Lake has been serving the camping and retreat needs of United Methodists (and their friends) in the Southern Tier of New York and Northeast Pennslyvania. Each year countless individuals volunteer their time to help keep our facilities looking great and our programs running smoothly. Volunteers play a vital role in the continuing success of Sky Lake!
Often times people think that volunteering for one of our week long camps throughout the summer is the only volunteer opportunity at Sky Lake. However, volunteers are needed at numerous other times throughout the year.
Sky Lake needs individuals and groups who are interested in any of the following:
- Work Days.
- Sharing music or a story.
- Praying for our ministry on a regular basis.
- Weeding and watering flower beds and boxes.
- Leading a craft.
- Leading a nature hike.
- Hosting a retreat.
