Would you like to have your confirmands experience the connectionalism of the United Methodist Church first hand? Does your confirmation class have less than fifteen youth? Do you want to take your confirmands on a retreat, but worry about planning the whole thing yourself? If you answered yes to any question, then bring your confirmation class to Sky Lake this March!

Here’s how it works:

• All clergy who choose to attend the confirmation retreat will work together with Matt Williams, Sky Lake Program Director, to plan the retreat they have opted for. Meetings are planned for 10am on February 4 and February 18 at New Milford UMC.
• The Friday-Saturday retreat will begin at 5pm on Friday and conclude at 3pm on Saturday. (Confirmands may need to be excused from school early.)
• Each confirmation class must be accompanied by you, the pastor, who is committed to attending the entire retreat and two planning sessions. Depending on the size of your group, additional adults may be required.
• Cost will be $55.00 per person. One adult for every eight youth will be our treat.
• Space is limited to forty (40) youth and ten (10) adults per retreat, so register early. Accommodations will be in Riley Lodge, so be sure to bring bedding and toiletries! A specific to bring list along with parental permission forms will be distributed at the first meeting. 8.
